Trinity is one of the University of Oxford's many Colleges. For many years, there has been a traditional and fierce rivalry between the students of Trinity and those of its immediate neighbour to the west, Balliol College. It has manifested itself on the sports field and the river, in the form of songs (of greater or lesser offensiveness) sung over the dividing walls; and in the form of "raids" on the other college.
